Genuine Code

Optimize Route Table Management with a Universal Database of Valid Calling Codes
Thousands of carriers exist throughout the world, each with a different calling code database for routing and billing traffic. Calling codes change daily to accommodate mobile expansion, a new carrier's entry or the liberalization of a previously closed market. Carriers must dedicate significant operational and financial resources to track and manage the calling codes to efficiently route traffic.

With the growing number of international carriers offering fixed-line, mobile and premium services, carriers need an effective tool for navigating the increasingly complex and growing number of calling codes.

Dial Peer's Genuine Code provides carriers with access to a rapidly expanding universal database of valid calling codes used by hundreds of global and regional carriers. Genuine Code provides a unique market identifier for every destination in the world. This uniform language enables permanent route matching across all functions and systems, from the retail origin of the call to its final destination, and facilitates a recognizable, standardized destination reference throughout the organizations participating in the traffic's routing and billing.

Dial Peer updates the Genuine Code database every two weeks. To promote standardization, Dial Peer's Members share their calling code databases with Dial Peer to facilitate an even more current representation of the world's market. With Genuine Code, carriers need to look only at the release date to determine what calling codes are in use at any given time for trading or to settle calling code disputes.

Genuine Code serves as the only standard time registered source of calling code information for every country in the world. We have delivered as a comma separated value (*.CSV) file for easy integration into any spreadsheet, database or route optimization tool.

Genuine Code enables carriers to:

Reduce vulnerability to cherry picking
Reduce revenue losses due to improper breakout destinations
Reduce billing disputes with correspondent carriers
Optimize route table management
Shorten the lag time to adopt new breakouts
Streamline the calling codes and rate reconciliation process
